New Mining and Engineering Workshop

In December 2009, WDS moved its Mining and Engineering operations in Mackay and Glenella to a new integrated workshop in Mackay. The move to the new workshop not only integrates the services provided, but also acts as an upgrade of existing facilities and increases operational efficiencies as electrical and mechanical work will be undertaken at the one location. The new workshop is located in Mackay Harbour and possesses the capability to accommodate overhauls and repairs for all electrical and mechanical mining equipment and components, as well as for underground equipment e.g. miners, shuttle cars, feeders. The workshop also accommodates all types of welding and fabrication services for new projects and repair work.

The new workshop is located on the corner of Presto Avenue and Satellite cresent Mackay Harbour, Queensland 4740.
