South West Queensland Pipeline Mainline Valve Site #2 Tarbat Off Take

Remote area modification of existing valve station to provide a metered off take to supply Santos Limited with fuel gas for power generation at the Tarbat Oil Field development.

The scope of work required the Diversified crew to construct an extension to the existing Epic Energy mainline valve site on the Ballera to Wallumbilla Pipeline, to install foundations to accommodate a metering skid and marshalling hut as well as new SCADA equipment.

Diversified coordinated the transportation to the site of the marshalling hut, SCADA assemblies and metering skid.

New spooling was fabricated and installed and connected into the existing mainline valve. Instrumentation and electrics were installed and commissioned.

The existing fencing was modified and new fencing installed to secure the compound.

Some months later Diversified returned to the site to install new meter tubing into the meter skid.

This project demonstrated Diversified’s ability to respond in a remote location to the clients’ requirements in a timely and professional manner with minimal disruption to existing operations.
