 Connection of various aquifers to water grid

The contract was working as part of the BCAA Alliance to deliver a new water source for Brisbane City and Caboolture Shire via a series of aquifers.

Diversified’s role was:

BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL

Installation of 23 kilometres of reticulation pipework at Sunnybank, Runcorn, Algester, Forest Lake and Chandler. The work required operating within an integrated team including the Design Team and other Alliance members as well as with the local communities.

CABOOLTURE SHIRE COUNCIL

Installation of 11 kilometres of reticulation pipework at Bribie Island; work involved innovative installation solutions and potentially high water table.

OUTCOMES

Working closely with all parties the reticulation work was completed three months ahead of programme, this was achieved by closely working with the designers and the suppliers enabling the Project Team to deliver outstanding results.
